The New York Rangers (21-8-4) defeated the Philadelphia Flyers (21-9-4) by the score of 4-2, tonight. For a boxscore and recap go to Yahoo! Sports....sort of fun being a Rangers fan right now, huh?...surprised to see the Rangers come out as flat as they did, but their forecheck really took over in the second and third period and, in my opinion, dominated the Flyers....with all due respect to Biron, there is no 1 and 1a in goal. Hank is in a class of his own....Bickel the playmaker?...ladies and gentleman, your NHL leading goal scorer Marian Gaborik....is there anything Stepan can't do?...amazing Garden crowd tonight. Loved the "Flyers Suck" chant. But what was up with the boos every time Jagr touched the puck?...guess that goal sparked Dubinsky. He was all over the ice tonight....Erixon had a rude welcome to the Rangers/Flyers rivalry as the Flyers were being real physical with him....the points and + rating have been great for Del Zotto, but I am loving the s...

Gaborik Ok After Slash

Pat Leonard at the Daily News reports that after the game John Tortorella said Marian Gaborik was fine after taking a slash to the shoulder on his goal last night....great news! Got to admit, I was real worried watching him wince in pain on the bench. The season actually flashed before my eyes. Here's video of the play... Remember to follow me on Twitter &...

HBO 24/7 Rangers-Flyers Episode 2

Islanders-Rangers Preview

The New York Rangers are emerging from the Christmas break leading the Atlantic Division, and their rivals across the East River are coming back entrenched at the bottom. Marian Gaborik and the Rangers hope the time off doesn't stunt their momentum, something the Islanders will look to do Monday night at Madison Square Garden. The holiday was likely more enjoyable for the Rangers...

A Winter Classic Test Drive

Friday night's contest between the Rangers and Flyers is going to be a big one and it has nothing to do with the fact that the Winter Classic is just around the corner.  The Rangers guaranteed that they have a chance to be in first place in the Atlantic by continuing their strong play in Thursday night's 4-2 win over the Islanders. They are getting contributions from every...
