Pretend you are a hockey player, in the middle of a lockout. What do you do to pass the time? You sign an endorsement deal, of course. New York Rangers Forward Brad Richards has been named a global ambassador for the US-based menswear apparel line, UNTUCKit. UNTUCKit, as you may expect, is an e-commerce label that creates higher quality shirts that are design to be worn...you guessed it..."untucked". Richards' who signed a two year deal with the company, will serve as the face of the brand. “When the opportunity came up for me to be the face of UNTUCKit, I was very excited,” said Richards. “I’m a big believer that style should be comfortable and I need to wear clothing that fits right. This is what makes UNTUCKit so unique -- the fit is always perfect.” Richards, who currently serves as an alternate captain for the Rangers and finished with 66 points this past season, was the perfect choice for UNTUCKit, according to CEO Chris Riccobono, “We are extremely excited about this partnership,” Riccobono said. “I’ve always been a huge sports fan, and as a New Yorker, I’m a big Rangers and Richards fan. Brad is known for his sense of style. The fact that he is also a fellow wine connoisseur makes him the perfect ambassador for UNTUCKit.” To learn more about UNTUCKit and their clothing line, visit the UNTUCKit website. (via UNTUCKit)
