The list of invitees to New York Rangers training camp this year continues to grow as defensemen Garnet Exelby and Alexei Semenov have been invited on a tryout basis according to Andrew Gross. Semenov attended last September, but if you recall, could not stick with the team through the season because of complications with his wife. I am guessing that situation has changed, eh?And Exelby, age 29, recorded a goal and three assists in 51 games played with the Toronto Maple Leafs last season. With all of these additions I am assuming that the defensive position this year for the Bleushirts will be wide open. Wade Redden, without a doubt in my mind, will be sent to Hartford because there is way too much competition for him to stay with the team. As for the rest, well, it is all up for grabs.Back later with results from Traverse City.....
