Lundqvist
Someone asked Henrik Lundqvist last night if he knew the Jets hadn’t won the second part of a back-to-back all season. He laughed and said he didn’t, then insisted it didn’t matter. Rangers, Lundqvist take care of Jets

Henrik Lundqvist took a ride up to the New York Rangers' practice rink on Tuesday morning, thinking he would have that night off when the Winnipeg Jets came to town. A bout with the flu for backup Martin Biron changed all that for New York's All-Star goalie. Instead of resting during the last game before the break, Lundqvist went out and put up the 40th shutout of his stellar...

The Hank Shuffle

TheNYRBlog reader Nevada T. sends me this .gif of Henrik Lundqvist doing the "Hank Shuffle" in an attempt to keep the puck from crossing the line during the Rangers 3-0 against the Jets Tuesday night... ...savvy veteran move by Hank making sure there was no doubt the ref didn't see that puck cross the goal line. Was definitely laughing my ass off watching him do that...

Video: Marian Gaborik Talks About Facing Henrik Lundqvist, All Star Weekend

… the players had a blast last night at the Fantasy Draft and by the looks of the smile on Gaborik’s face you can tell he is so happy that he is having a tremendous season and is at the All-Star game.  Hagelin vs Gaborik in fastest skater? As much as I love Gabby, Hags [...]
