New York Rangers defenseman Marc Staal is not expected to rejoin the team this week.
Staal has been dealing with concussion-related symptoms that kept him out of the lineup for the team's first two games in Europe.
Rangers coach John Tortorella said he does not anticipate seeing Staal prior to Saturday's game against the New York Islanders.
Staal suffered the concussion in February against the Carolina Hurricanes after taking a hit from his brother, Eric Staal.
Despite the concussion, Staal missed just five games last season, collecting seven goals and 22 assists.
