RED ALERT: Capitals preseason starts tomorrow

The Washington Capitals kickoff their 2009 preseason tomorrow against Buffalo. After the scrimmage, Coach Bruce Boudreau singled out several players for praise: Defensemen Karl Alzner and John Carlson; goalies Neuvirth and Theodore; and forwards Keith Aucoin and Nicklas Backstrom. "Michal Neuvirth was outstanding and so was Theo, actually, if I'm comparing it to one year ago today," Boudreau said.
