Now that the Pennsylvania Bar Exam is complete and I have a life once again, Caps coverage will get a renewed boost. On to the little news there is . . . Milan Jurcina got a bump in pay through his arbitration award, getting awarded $1.4 million. Last season Jurcina was contracted at $900,000. Jurcina actually had a well improved season in 2009, up over a promising 2008 season. Jurcina at times this season was easily one of the more consistent defensemen on the roster. He actually began to lose his large frame for hitting and defending, something Jeff Schultz hasn't learned yet. New Cap second line center Brendan Morrison was in Washington yesterday and met witht he media. Morrison took less money to come to Washington, something unheard of just two years ago, when most free agent, steered clear of Washington.
