Detroit Red Wings injured goaltender Jimmy Howard faced shots at practice Saturday for the first time since re-aggravating a groin injury.Howard has missed the past two games and is expected to sit Monday’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Ty Conklin has started the past two games for Detroit, going 1-0-1 and allowing six goals on a total of 58 shots in that span."He hurt his groin and he missed some time, and now he's hurt it again," head coach Mike Babcock told reporters. "I imagine we're extra cautious with him. And yet Howie's got to get playing and got to get playing lots of games."No. 1, we've got to get in the playoffs. And No. 2, you've got to be ready to play at a top level. You can't win without your goalie being good, so it's important that Howie gets going."Howard is 33-15-3 with a 2.15 GAA and a .920 save percentage this season.
