Nightmare on Helm Street:
Way better effort tonight by the Wings. Not the result we wanted, but we're getting there. If the Wings keep playing like that, they'll be fine.Jump for the recap:
Conklin was very good out there. I'm not surprised. He's played very well in Grand Rapids and I knew he'd be ready if the call came. The PP was better tonight. Good movement and some decent shots, but they didn't get enough chances. Refs let them(Rangers) play tonight.Injuries were the difference tonight. Pavel Datsyuk was simply amazing out there, but he had Bert and Hudler on his line and they did EVERYTHING in their power to lose pucks. I don't remember the last time Bert or Hudler looked this bad and they both did it on the same night and on the same line. I despise NBC. Troll them on twitter, if you have a minute. I think they blocked me back when I was giving them hell for employing a child abuser.Ty Conklin. Damn it, I wanted him to win this game. He frigging deserved it. He had more ...

Whoever mocked the injury gods, please start apologizing immediately. This is getting ridiculous.

The Rangers report that Artem Anisimov said he felt great at practice today, but it is up to the coach whether he plays or not....Torts usually defers to the medical staff on injuries so if they clear him expect to see AA back in the line-up tonight....if AA returns, the question is who sits? Fedotenko is a little banged up so he is a possible candidate.Meanwhile, Pat Leonard at...

from of Puck Daddy, I spoke to Datsyuk last week about the upcoming playoffs, NHL rules changes, Alex Ovechkin and Alex Radulov, and other League topics. But as you’ll read, our conversations went in many other interesting places, including:
• His early hockey years, including wearing figure skates and a locker room fight.
• The people with whom he’d most like to have dinner...
On the heels of an emotional win over the Devils, the Rangers went out and defeated the Detroit Red Wings on the back of birthday boy Ryan Callahan.
