Red Wings win! Outside of a few bad breaks in this game, Detroit dominated from start to finish. I'm pumped and you should be, too.

Down 4-1, the Detroit Red Wings... dominated and won 5-4. #Heart. Red Wings had it tonight. They didn't deserve to be down 4-1, but they were. Rather than fold, they just continued to do what they needed to do to win.

Bert's goal to cut the deficit to one was my favorite. It's like he just hated the puck into the net. I swear he was trying to slash Ward and just hit the puck by accident.

Pavel was a magician out there. No surprise. Nyquist was also amazing, though. It looked to me like he's quite comfortable at this level. I also liked his anger over not scoring late in the third. That tells me that he expects better of himself and that's the attitude we need.

Lidstom was certainly rusty, but still made a difference. Kindl was extremely slow, but better than Janik.

Conklin made some good stops, but he's not making the huge saves when needed. Is he back? I don't know, but he's better than he was earlier in the year.

The power play was getting some great looks, but couldn't bury it. It's coming, though.

NOHS Three Stars of the Game:

First Star: Hank. Great game by Hank when the outcome was in doubt.

Second Star: Filppula. Some good looks out there by Val.

Third Star: Miller. GWG and an all-around good game.

NOHS Favorite Moment of the Game: Miller's GWG. This team is back.

Next game is Monday against the BJ's. No let down! Puck drops at 7:30 EST.
