Canadiens forward Rene Bourque is out of action indefinitely, having been diagnosed with a concussion.
Habs head coach Michel Therrien told reporters at the team’s practice in Mississauga., Ont., Tuesday at noon-hour that Bourque doesn’t know how he sustained the concussion. He’s missed the past two games with what was advertised as flu-like symptoms. That obviously has changed.

Michael Ryder is on his way back to the Montreal Canadiens.

Newfoundland, rejoice: Michael Ryder is back where he belongs. Is this a good trade for Montreal? It had been said that Erik Cole's contract was great in year one, ok in year two, not great in year three, and Habs fans would beg for mercy in year four. Well, year four seemed to come quickly - and to be fair, that may be lockout related. Cole had clearly become disinterested,...

The Montreal Canadiens are 6-2-2 in their last ten games. The Ottawa Senators have rattled off four straight victories.
Lowered expectations and injuries [respectively] be damned, Michel Therrien and Paul MacLean both have playoff dreams. But tonight, they'll have to battle one another at Scotiabank Place for a pivotal pair of points...
Here's a prime example of a non-story:
Asked if the Montreal Canadiens will be looking to carry out revenge against him at the Air Canada Centre on Wednesday, Mikhail Grabovski coyly shrugged his shoulders.
“Why would they? What happened last time? I forget,” Grabovski said, obviously playing dumb after the Maple Leafs 4-2 win in Philly on Monday.
