Right wing Shane Doan, who has played all 17 of his NHL seasons with the Phoenix Coyotes franchise, reportedly will wait until July 9 to decide if he will become a free agent. Doan, who has 310 goals in 1,198 games, will wait until then to see if Greg Jamison's bid to buy the Coyotes is successful, according Canada's The Sports Network. The Coyotes captain is expected be in high demand as a free agent, scoring at least 50 points in all but one of the last 12 seasons and playing in at least 72 games in that span. He has said he would like to remain with the Coyotes, but not if the team is embroiled in more politics. Jamison, a former San Jose Sharks part-owner, is latest prospective bidder to buy the Coyotes, who have been owned by the NHL since it went into bankruptcy in 2009. Doan's reported date is tied to the deadline for petitions to the city of Glendale -- which owns Jobing.com Arena, the team's home -- that could put Jamison's lease agreement to a public vote and delay...
