Calgary Flames veteran defenseman Robyn Regehr has been asked to waive his no-move clause and accept a deal to the Buffalo Sabres.
Regehr has yet to officially answer the Flames, according to TSN. The report noted that there is no time frame set for his response.
The 31-year-old blue-liner has two years left on his current deal worth $4.02 per campaign.
Regehr, who was drafted 19th overall in 1998 by the Colorado Avalanche, collected two goals and 15 assists in 79 games last season for Calgary.
