According to good friend Darren Dreger, as well as the National Post, the Toronto Maple Leafs are close to finalizing a deal that would send two first-round picks and a second-rounder to the Boston Bruins for star forward Phil Kessel. The deal is apparently not done, but finishing touches are being put on, and the Leafs are awaiting the conference call to confirm the deal. More on this as it develops.
