New logo. New sweaters. New superstar? That just might be what the Dallas Stars are thinking. The logo and sweaters are taken care of, and the superstar might be too if a new report is to be believed. Free agent center Vincent Lecavalier's search for a new team looks to be down to Dallas, according to CBSSports.com. The Stars were one of the first teams to contact the former Tampa Bay captain shortly after we was bought out of his contract last week, along with the Detroit Red Wings. A report from MLive.com indicated that the Red Wings are not willing to match the terms Lecavalier is wanting to sign: 5-years at 25 million. But the Stars are looking to make a fresh start in Dallas and their new GM Jim Nill, who came from Detroit, has his eyes on Lecavalier.
