It was already reported on Saturday that Nathan Horton is on his way out of Boston. If the right offer comes along, Tyler Seguin could be joining him. The Bruins are listening to trade offers for Seguin, according to CSSNE.com. Joe Haggerty reports it would take a "king's ransom" for Boston to trade its 21-year-old star. A top-10 pick would have to be part of the deal. Bob McKenzie of TSN also reports that Seguin's name has been brought up in trade talks. The Bruins drafted Seguin No. 2 overall in the 2010 draft with a pick they received from Toronto for Phil Kessel. Seguin struggled during the 2013 playoffs, scoring eight points with just one goal. The Bruins are attempting to maneuver around the NHL's new salary cap.

Rumor: Tyler Seguin could be moved by the Boston Bruins

According to a tweet by TSN hockey insider Bob McKenzie, it appears as though even Tyler Seguin could be traded by the Boston Bruins. The 21 year old center only recorded 8 points in 22 games during the 2013 NHL playoffs. The Bruins eventually lost in the Stanley Cup Finals to the Chicago Blackhawks in six games. While it would surely take an overwhelming offer for the Bruins to move...

A Look At The Bruins 2013 NHL Entry Draftees

The 2013 NHL Entry Draft has come and gone. If you paid attention during the weekend, Bob McKenzie tweeted out that Boston would looking to move Tyler Seguin and it sent Twitter and the pink hats into a tizzy. What came out of it? Nothing. Bob McKenzie did his annual "huge hockey trade" tweet and was dead wrong, just like he was dead wrong about Iginla and just like he...

Replacing Nathan Horton

Boston, MA – It is a moment that many Bruins fans likely thought would not come so quickly. After Peter Chiarelli made a draft day deal that rescued Nathan Horton from the purgatory that is the Florida Panthers and brought him to a relevant, cup-contending hockey organization three years ago, it seemed like a match made in heaven. Horton, a big, skilled power forward with a...

Report: Horton to leave Bruins

It appears a key piece in the Bruins' 2010-11 Stanley Cup run will not be back in 2013-14. Nathan Horton has told Boston he wants to explore free agency, according to Bob McKenzie of TSN, who spoke to the winger's agent, Paul Krepelka. "It's not a financial issue, just a decision to move on," Krepelka said. Horton's unrestricted free agency rights are...

Bruins’ Draft Picks Heavy on Europeans, New England Players Hoping to Eventually Break Through

The Bruins had become pretty accustomed to selecting big-name potential talent with first-round picks in the last few years. Over the past three drafts alone, the B’s nabbed Tyler Seguin, Dougie Hamilton and Malcolm Subban. So they were in a somewhat unfamiliar position Sunday in New Jersey when the B’s were without a first-round selection for the 2013 NHL entry draft. Boston’s...

A few Boston Bruins show up at Harvard for party

A few Boston Bruins showed up to a party on Harvard’s campus on Thursday.  From left to right sitting on the brick wall, Shawn Thornton, Tuukka Rask, Brad Marchand, and Tyler Seguin seem to be drinking their sorrows away, while their captain Zdeno Chara rides on kids rides at parks. Nathan Horton exits Boston Bruins as free agent

After nearly winning the Stanley Cup this year, the Boston Bruins seem poised to make some major changes. The team is ready to let go of winger Jaromir Jagr, who isn't ready to retire from the NHL. Concussion-marred Nathan Horton will also get to test the market after failing to get six years and $36 million in Beantown. CSN New England reports that agent Paul Krepelka told...

Blue Jackets Draft Recap

New Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen stepped into an almost ideal situation in Columbus in terms of putting an immediate stamp on the organization, as the Jackets were loaded up with three first round picks in a deep and talented draft class. While they certainly would have been willing to deal from that pick depth for an impact forward (Tyler Seguin's name apparently came up...

Boston Bruins Report: Nathan Horton jumping ship, while others could be getting shipped.

Hasn’t Boston already been through enough in the month of June? First, Ray Allen (dare I say his name) wins the NBA Finals with Celtics rivalry, the Heat. Then you have the Bruins falling apart, while only taking seventeen seconds to do so, and then had to watch the Blackhawks hoist the cup on their home ice. Those two things alone are pain enough, but then Doc Rivers quits on...
