- Nice signing by the Oilers yesterday. Corey Potter is a quality third pairing defenseman, and his $800k (or so) per season contract for the next two is completely reasonable. Potter is happy...

General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms with defenceman Corey Potter on a two-year contract extension.
Potter, 28, is in his first year with the Oilers and has 14 points (3G, 11A) in 27 games.
