Claude Giroux wins NHL 13 cover vote
Philadelphia Flyers star Claude Giroux has beaten out Nashville Predators tendy Pekka Rinne to win the first ever EA Sports NHL cover vote, meaning he will grace the cover of the upcoming NHL 13.

Per a statement from the official Philadelphia Flyers Facebook page, Claude Giroux will be on the cover of EA Sports' NHL 13.
Claude Giroux had this to say in an article on NHL.com:
"The support fans have given me throughout the campaign has been unbelievable."

The NHL put out the league's schedule today, here is the 2012-2013 Philadelphia Flyers schedule, courtesy of the Flyers website:

There's so much double-speak with the FLyers anymore, it's hard to get a handle on what their game plan is for free agency and such.
General manager Paul Holmgren repeated his usual mantra of "I like our team" on Monday several times.

The trashing and scapegoating of Ilya Bryzgalov over the past year has been carried to such ridiculous proportions that I think a little counterweight is in order to present a more realistic and balanced picture both of his 2011-12 season and prospects moving forward.
