Kudos for Johan Hedberg for earning the second star of the week by the NHL. Doing a nice job stepping in for injured Marty Brodeur Devils, Hedberg went 3-0-0 including a shut out of the Rangers while helping the Devils win their seaso high seventh straight game. San Jose's Antti Niemi and Edmonton's Ales Hemsky earned the first and third stars respectively.
