Patrick Sharp is skating after being sidelined with a broken left wrist, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Patrick Sharp, shown in this file photo, may return with the Blackhawks next week for the Western Canada road trip.
It’s expected the veteran will benefit from the extended down time during the All-Star week.
Reports indicate Sharp is on a time table to rejoin his teammates for the Western Canada road trip.
From Chris Kuc of the Tribune:
“There was some good news on the injury front as winger Patrick Sharp skated as he recovers from a left wrist injury. The veteran is still on pace to return during the Western Canada portion of the road trip.”
The report came out of today’s news that Jonathan Toews will miss one game against the Nashville Predators and most likely the All-Star game.
The Hawks should be looking very healthy, however, next week.

The Nashville Predators were fortunate to catch the Chicago Blackhawks during a bit of a lull in the great run that they were on when they surged to the top of the Western Conference.
