At this current moment in the NHL regular season if there is one team that are sellers, it’s the Columbus Blue Jackets. Even though a month or two ago the Blue Jackets were still considered sellers. Nevertheless, over the past couple weeks the media has wrote and discussed about if Rick Nash or Jeff Carter trade to the Toronto Maple Leafs would be realistic or even make sense.
Now let’s look a young player who has not received much attention on the rumour mill this year.
Derick Brassard, who is a player I previously wrote about in early December. This 24-year-old former first-round draft pick (6th overall in 2006) has tons of potential, though has never panned out since being drafted by Columbus in 2006.
