Patrick Eaves would like to remain in the Motor City.
Although he is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, the Detroit Red Wings' right wing feels he's carving a niche with the club.
"I really like it here," Eaves told the Detroit News. "I'm sure it'll iron itself out. I wish I knew (how it'll turn out). But I'm sure it'll iron itself out."
The 27-year-old Alberta native collected 13 goals, seven assists and 14 penalty minutes in 63 games this season with the Red Wings.
