Cam Fowler is ready for Sochi: Introducing Cam America

Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler is prepared to play for Team USA in the Sochi Olympics. A few of his Anaheim teammates, however, think he's taking the preparation a little too serious. The first game for Team USA and Fowler, owner of six goals and 30 points for the Pacific Division-leading Ducks (40-14), is Thursday at 4:30 a.m. PT vs. Slovakia on NBC Sports Network. Judge for yourself...

Ducks’ Cam Fowler Becomes ‘Cam America’ Superhero Before Olympics (Video)

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler was selected to the United States Olympic team for the first time last month and he’s very excited for the opportunity to compete in Sochi. He displayed that excitement on Friday in a video released by the Ducks in which Fowler stars as a superhero named “Cam America.” Aside from Fowler’s portrayal of an American hero — complete with...

Jakob Silfverberg's Debut Anaheim Ducks' Auto.

Jakob Silfverberg was the main piece that came to Anaheim in the Bobby Ryan trade last offseason. He got off to a great start before a broken hand cut into his season and production, and he's been up and down and in and out of the lineup since returning. However, I love his offensive game and defensive responsibility, so hopefully the Ducks can lock up the Restricted Free Agent...

Ducks Enter Olympic Break On a Positive Note

After losing three games in a row, stumbling to the Olympic break, the Ducks finished on a strong note with a 5-2 victory over the Nashville Predators.  It was not pretty, but there are not extra points for beauty.  The Ducks will now spend the next two weeks still on top of the NHL with a 41-14-5 record and a 87 points.  "I think it was a real big win," said coach...

It will be tough for the...

Ducks take down Predators

First Period Recap: For the first five minutes, the only real action came as a result of Preds goalie Carter Hutton being very aggressive in playing the puck, but even those weren't as dangerous as they could have been. The game really opened up with the first penalty of the game, a hooking minor called against Daniel Winnik. The Ducks actually had the best chance while shorthanded...

Ducks-Predators Preview

After falling off the pace over the last few weeks, the Anaheim Ducks are surely looking forward to regrouping during the Olympic break. A matchup against the Nashville Predators in their final game could help, too. Looking to avoid a fourth consecutive loss, the visiting Ducks go for a fifth straight win over the Predators on Saturday night. Anaheim (40-14-5) posted 4.0 goals...

The Fangover: Predators 2, Ducks 5

The Nashville Predators enter the NHL's Winter Olympic Break winless in their last three. Last Saturday, the Predators fell to St. Louis 4-3 in a shootout and then lost to Minnesota 3-2 in overtime Thursday. Saturday night, the hockey gods did not favor Nashville, as they lost to the Anaheim Ducks 5-2.  Carter Hutton made allowed four goals on 23 shots, but none of which...
