The Buffalo Sabres are about to get a much-needed blue-line boost.Third-year defenseman Tyler Myers is expected to return to the lineup Friday night against the Carolina Hurricanes after missing the previous seven weeks with a broken wrist.Myers looked like his old self in practice Wednesday, firing shots and passes after being given the green light to return to action Friday."The good thing is I know I can't do any damage to it," Myers told the Buffalo News. "I
have that peace of mind. I can really bear down on it. Little aches and
pains, I'm not taking them seriously now that I know it's healed."The 21-year-old has struggled when healthy, recording just two goals and four assists in 19 games.
