The Buffalo Sabres have recalled forward Corey Tropp from the minors to fill in for injured center Cody McCormick. Buffalo's 2007 third-round draft pick rejoins the Sabres a week after making his NHL debut, in which he had a goal and assist in four games. Tropp also has four goals and three assists in 11 games this season with Rochester of the American Hockey League.
