Buffalo Sports Now:
One of the most popular Sabres is returning to the team for the 2010-11 season. Mike Grier agreed to a one-year contract extension on Monday.
The right winger scored nine goals and 22 points in 78 regular season games in 2009-10, as well as a pair of goals in the Sabres' first round series against the Bruins. But he provided a steady hand of leadership and various other intangibles as the Sabres clinched the Northeast Division title.
