By Bill Whitehead SUNRISE, Fla. – There have been very few “laugher” victories for the Florida Panthers this season. In fact, Florida’s 4-0 win over Toronto on Thursday was the club’s first victory by more than one goal since a 3-0 blanking of the New York Rangers on Jan. 2. The easy win over the Maple Leafs, after a scoreless first period, had Florida coach Pete DeBoer pretty happy — not like a person celebrating his Irish descent at a St. Patrick’s Day parade, but cheery nonetheless. A good part of that joy is watching the development of the top line centered by Stephen Weiss, who has blended in nicely with tradeline acquisitions Sergei Samsonov and Niclas Bergfors.
