The Vancouver Canucks will be without forward Mikael Samuelsson for Thursday's showdown with the visiting Nashville Predators.Samuelsson is experiencing lingering pain from adductor muscle and sports hernia surgery he had during the offseason. Coach Alain Vigneault called it a "maintenance day," and doesn't expect the Swedish winger to miss any additional time. The 34-year-old has a goal and two assists in six games so far this season.Marco Sturm will take Samuelsson's spot on the third line, while Sami Salo will move to his spot on the first power-play unit.
