It's rare that a goal is scored from center ice, well, at least it's rare when there's a GOALIE in the net, that is. Earlier tonight, Florida's Mikael Samuelsson broke a scoreless game with a wrister from the red line; giving the Panthers a 1-0 lead, and Washington's Michal Neuvirth shame. This comes on the heels of Dennis Seidenberg's blast that ripped by Craig Anderson just last night.
Samuelsson added another tally on the night, which actually came while in the offensive zone.
Maybe the NHL just found its newest competition to add to the Skills Competition on All-Star weekend...
