Andrew Gross at the Bergen Record was able to speak with Glen Sather about Rick Nash's medical treatment with HC Davos...

"[Nash] knew where he was going, he’d been there before [during the 2004-05 lockout] so I’m sure he knows their medical people are good. I’m sure they’re giving him all the treatment that he needs."

...this is something that would freak me out if I was the Rangers. Not only is their prized free agent aquisition injured from playing in the Swiss league, but Blueshirts doctors can't even evaluate him because of the lockout. Let's hope the doctors in this league are better than those in the KHL.

Here's more from Sather on locked out players getting injured overseas...

"It’s no different playing over there than playing here because here you can get hurt playing in the American League (AHL) or you can get hurt playing junior. I don’t think it’s a huge risk for anyone to play."

...while I completely agree with Sather here, it does bother me to see Nash getting injured for another team. If he hurt himself while playing for the Rangers, while being upset about it, I wouldn't have the same anger. Effin Bettman.
