With the team slumping - having lost three of the last four games – the Philadelphia Flyers announced today that they have made several roster moves.
Brayden Schenn, who was recalled from Adirondack just four games ago, sustained a broken foot last night when blocking a shot against the Montreal Canadiens. Schenn had not posted a point in the four games, and is tied for a team-worst -5 rating.

Rinaldo played in the first five games of the regular season, while Jody Shelley finished serving the remainder of a League-mandated suspension for a hit from behind in the exhibition season.
