The biggest pest in the history of the NHL may be retired, but even out of the NHL, he finds a way to get attention. Yesterday, Sean Avery tweeted out to the struggling Rangers coach, “Fire this CLOWN, his players hate him and wont play for his BS.... @imseanavery is #winning.” The Rangers are standing at only 8th place in the Eastern Conference after acquiring big name free agent Rick Nash last year.During his playing time with the Rangers, it was obvious that Avery and Tortorella had many issues with each other. After being named head coach of the Rangers in 2009, Tortorella inexplicably claimed Avery off waivers a few weeks after his hiring, a relationship that would end with Torts repeatedly putting the NHL's pest on waivers and sending him to the club’s AHL affiliate before severing ties. - Toronto SunHere's some great comments on the two goofs via the Toronto Sun's comment section.More Great Content                                                 ...
