The Ottawa Sentors acquired minor league goaltender Ben Bishop from the St. Louis Blues Sunday morning. The Senators, who are without injured top goaltender Craig Anderson, traded a second-round pick in 2013 to the Blues for the 6-foot-7 Bishop. He’s been bumped down the Blues' depth chart after the emergence of Brian Elliot, who is sharing starts with Jaroslav Halak.Anderson is out for an indefinite period of time after slicing his hand in a kitchen accident earlier this week. Backup goaltender Alexander Auld got the start in a 5-3 loss to the Boston Bruins Saturday. Sources close to the situation said Bishop was close to signing a one-year deal with the Senators following the trade. He will become a free agent this summer if no deal is reached by July 1.
