It seems all along, free agent Shane Doan has waited to sign a new deal so Greg Jamison can secure ownership with the Phoenix Coyotes and Doan can stay with the only franchise he's ever played for. Today, Sarah McLellan of azcentral sports writes how Doan will be signing a new deal before the September 15 expiration of the current CBA in order to have a contract before a new labor deal is in place. Whether it's with Phoenix or another team."Shane is going to sign a contract before the CBA expires on the 15th," said Doan's agent, Terry Bross.
