The Sharks don’t know as of yet whom their opponent will be in the Western Conference Semifinals, but they do know they will be short one forward for the entire series.
On Thursday the team announced that winger Adam Burish will not play in the next round because of an unspecified upper body injury sustained in the series-clinching Game 4 win over the Canucks on Tuesday. Burish didn’t return to action after being slashed by Alexander Edler late in the second period.
