The Sharks have announced several promotions for the upcoming season as a chance to buy back, or, in the Sharks’ own words, “thank” their fans after the 131-day lockout that delayed all of us getting to watch hockey until this weekend.
It’s almost like getting accosted with gifts from your parents after they told you they were getting divorced. Via David Pollack of the Mercury News:
– Anyone purchasing a main meal in the main concourse or club will get a free 16-ounce soda.
– The first 200 fans to purchase two tickets to four or more 2012-13 regular season games will receive a free Sharks premier jersey.
– The discount on merchandise in the team store for season-ticket holders increases from 15 percent to 30 percent from Wednesday through Jan. 31.
— Sharks Premier jerseys will be discounted for the first time via the Sharks Store from Wednesday through Jan. 31. Normally $140, they’ll be on sale for $99.
