Ryane Clowe turned in perhaps the biggest play in the San Jose Sharks' 6-5 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night - and he did it from the bench. With Kings forward Jarret Stoll making a rush up ice late in the third period, Stowe reached over the boards with his stick to swipe at the puck, barely catching it and knocking it loose from Stoll. Three players from the Kings immediately raised their arms to point out the infraction, but neither referee saw the play. "(He) just poke-checked me, kind of. He definitely got the puck," Stoll said. "I totally over-skated it then. I think it was an odd-man rush but I had a little bit of back pressure behind me. I had a back-checker right there. "Who knows what would happen on the play, but nobody's ever seen anything like that." Following the Sharks' victory, Clowe played dumb when confronted by the media about the play.
