San Jose Sharks goaltender Antti Niemi will make his first start of the season on Monday against the Anaheim Ducks.
Niemi sat out the preseason and missed the first three games or the regular season having undergoing surgery to remove a cyst in his knee.
The 28-year-old Finn posted a 35-18-6 mark with six shutouts and a 2.38 goals-against average last season.
He also went 2-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA against the Ducks last season.
