Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf was voted as the most overrated player in the NHL in a recent Sports Illustrated poll. In a poll of 161 current NHL players, Phaneuf topped the list and teammate Mike Komisarek came in 10th. "Yes, players dumb enough to participate in polls designed to (expletive) on fellow NHLPA members are not very bright," Maple Leafs general manager Brian Burke told the Toronto Star. "I am thrilled to have both players on my team. "And by the way - anyone who wants to tell Dion that in person should fly to Ottawa in about two weeks." Phaneuf was voted to the All-Star Game, which takes place in Ottawa. He has seven goals and 21 assists this season. Washington Capitals superstar Alex Ovechkin came in second while Montreal Canadiens center Scott Gomez, Vancouver Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo and Minnesota Wild right wing Dany Heatley rounded out the top five.
