The story of Sidney Crosby and his concussion added another chapter today as Crosby, who was rumoured to be returning tomorrow afternoon against the Boston Bruins, will miss at least one more game.
According to Darren Dreger of TSN, Crosby will sit out tomorrow’s game, but he is hopeful to return on Thursday night when the Penguins visit the New York Rangers. That doesn’t mean Crosby’s situation has worsened, though.
Dreger also had this to say:
No setbacks or symptoms for Crosby. He just wants a few more practices.
Crosby attempted to return from his concussion earlier in the season. He appeared in eight games and had two goals and 10 assists during that time.
The Penguins would undoubtedly love to have Crosby back. The world’s best player, Crosby would all but lock up the “Stanley Cup favourite” title for the Penguins as the post-season approaches.
