Jordan Eberle's recovery seems to be progressing very well. Marc Spector of Sportsnet.ca saw the youngster practicing this morning and thinks he could return very soon -- possibly as early as Thursday. That would put Eberle well ahead of schedule. Video: Taylor Hall takes skate to face

A routine pre-game warm-up skate turned pretty scary for Edmonton Oilers young gun Taylor Hall. Hall, who must have been working on a triple lutz, fell and teammate Corey Potter skating behind him tried to get out of the way. He obviously couldn't. Edmonton Oilers: Why 2012-13 May be the Most Important Year in Franchise History

I recently was on vacation in Phoenix, Arizona.  I was at a Calvin Klein outlet where I bumped into the Assistant General Manager of the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades Jarrod Brodsky.  We chatted for a few minutes, and at one point during the conversation he mentioned that this year for the Blades, which has gone fairly well with a 4th place standing in the Eastern Conference, was...

''It's an emotional game and it takes passion to play and we had...

from Mark Zwolinski and Joseph Hall of the Toronto Star, A gruesome skate-to-the-face gash on Taylor Hall’s forehead may well put helmets on all Toronto Maple Leafs during the team’s pre-game warm-ups. “I’m thinking about it,” said coach Ron Wilson when asked if he’d make helmets mandatory. “You look at what happened (to Hall) and it was...
