Hurricanes’ Slavin becomes second American to win Stanley Cup and Olympic gold in same season

Jaccob Slavin has added his name to an extremely short list of USA Hockey royalty. The Carolina Hurricanes’ defenseman lifted the Stanley Cup after this defeated the Vegas Golden Knights 3-0 in Game 6 Sunday night, winning the Stanley Cup Final in six games.
