The St. Louis Blues were happy to see T.J. Oshie return to the lineup on Saturday night as they took on the Edmonton Oilers in Alberta, Canada.
Oshie had been out since March 12 and his return signaled that the Blues were finally healthy at full strength and it showed as the Blues shutout the Oilers 3-0.
Oshie not only returned to the lineup and played his usual excellent two-way game, but he got involved in the offense as well, scoring a goal in the win.
Paired with new a new line that consisted of center Patrik Berglund and forward Andy McDonald, Oshie found the back of the net in the third period to give the Blues a 3-0 lead.
The goal was Oshie's sixth of the season and his first since February 17th. Oshie now has 17 points on the season in 27 games played.
Oshie may not light up the lamp like some fans want him too, but it should be easy to understand just how important Oshie is to this team.
