Steven Stamkos scored twice and set up Tim Wallace’s winning goal with 7:50 remaining in the third period as Tampa Bay came from behind to defeat visiting New York 4-3 on Saturday.

Stamkos, who was held without a point in the previous four games, has a league-leading 52 goals to tie captain Vincent Lecavalier for the single-season franchise record (2006-07).

Wallace scored his third after taking a drop pass from Stamkos and wristing a shot just inside the left post from the top of the right circle.

Matt Moulson put the Islanders ahead 3-2 just 43 seconds into the third period, scooping in a rebound in front for his 100th career NHL goal.

Tom Pyatt tied it at 9:08, tapping in Ryan Malone's feed. Tampa Bay goaltender Dwayne Roloson made 34 saves in his 600th NHL game - 14 in the first as the Lightning took a 1-0 lead on Stamkos’ goal at 15:49.

Stamkos made it 2-0 just 1:46 into the second, one-timing Martin St. Louis' pass from the right circle.
Frans Nielsen and Moulson each had a goal and an assist for the Islanders.
