The Dallas Stars have activated forward Steve Ott from the injured reserve after he recovered from a hip injury. Ott will take the place of Adam Burish, who is expected to be out for four weeks with a broken hand after he was hit in the limb by a puck. Ott was sidelined for six games with the hip injury, but should be in the lineup Friday night against the Colorado Avalanche. Ott had a pair of goals and six assists with 25 penalty minutes in 11 games prior to the injury.
