Dallas Stars captain Brenden Morrow is "probable" to play in Saturday's game against the Boston Bruins, coach Glen Gulutzan said.
Morrow exited Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets after he was hit in the left knee by a shot. The 32-year-old attempted to return in the third, but played on only one shift and retreated to the locker room.
"He's got heavy swelling and bruising, but he felt better than we thought he was going to (on Friday)," Gulutzan said. "Knowing (Morrow), he's probable for (Saturday's game). But there's some healing that has to be done before he's a go."
Morrow has collected seven goals, 10 assists and 63 penalty minutes in 30 games this season.
