Dallas Stars captain Brenden Morrow will miss Wednesday's game against the Pacific Division rival Los Angeles Kings with an upper body injury.
Morrow was injured during Monday's 3-1 home win over the Edmonton Oilers.
"In the first period of the Edmonton game, he came off for a bit and then he came and finished the game. He's got a little upper-body issue here," Dallas coach Glen Gulutzan said. "We don't think he'll be too long, but he's not going to be available for tonight."
The 32-year-old Morrow has collected three goals, six assists and 39 penalty minutes in 20 games this season.
