Dallas Stars center Derek Roy, who has missed the last five games with a groin injury, is expected to return to the lineup for Monday's game against the Colorado Avalanche, the Dallas Morning News reported Sunday. Roy, 29, participated in drills during the team's skate on Sunday. He has hasn't played since Jan. 24, the same day the signing of Jamie Benn was announced. Roy has two assists in four games this season.
