Stars Shine on Banner Night

Tonight was a party for the Penguins organization and the people of Pittsburgh. The big highlight came previous to the actual hockey game when the Stanley Cup Champions Banner was raised to the Mellon Arena rafters.The game itself had everything you could ask for. Malkin and Crosby notched goals, Fleury made a brilliant save on Prospal, Godard had a major league fight with Donald Brashear and the Penguins won 3-2 against the new look Rangers.Quick Hits:-Alex Goligoski looks like he belongs on the Pens blue line. Gogo was the game's third star and recorded two assists.-Craig Adams was making plays all over the ice in the third period. What a waiver wire acquisition he was-Being an Erie Otter fan it was awesome to see Mike Rupp in a Penguins uniform-Max Talbot may have been cheered louder and longer than any other Pen in the pregame festivities.
