Sunday Link Dump: Youth Infusion On Hold?

It’s Sunday, so it’s time for today’s link dump. Steve Zipay at Newsday thinks that the Rangers youth movement is on hold because the Rangers cut Carl Hagelin and Ryan Bourque yesterday.  I am inclined to disagree here.  There is a ton of youth on the team already, and you don’t just put youth on the team just to do it.  The Rangers are adding Mats Zuccarello full time, isn’t that enough for this year on a roster where no one really played themselves on to the team? Jess Rubenstein at Prospect Park has an update on J.T. Miller, who is currently playing with the Plymouth Whalers of the OHL.  Miller finished with a goal and an assist in his Whalers debut, including scoring the game winner.
